Best thing I did in Donostia was book Earra tours. Getting shown around by a local made all the difference as Jon took me to places I never would have found otherwise and got me into restaurants I otherwise couldn’t get into with such short notice. Without planning ahead he took me to hidden beaches, charming little towns and amazing restaurants! Jon’s high energy is contagious as he makes suggestions and adapts the tours to your specific needs. He is also completely bilingual in English and Spanish. I will definitely use Earra tours again and will recommend them to my friends when they go to Basque Country.

Having had the immeasurable pleasure of being guided with Earra Tours on several occasions, through the innumerable wonders, interests and delights, that the Basque Country proudly offers, I can unequivocally attest, that whether it's Paddle Boarding to Getaria, Mountain Biking/Hiking in the Pagoeta, unveiling the rich cultural History of Euskal Herria on the very streets and landmarks it was created, or indulging in the varied delectable delights of the unique gastronomic cuisine, and pintxos profusion of Donostia and the surrounding countryside, you can do no greater justice to your indelible experience, than to place your trust in a local guide such as Jon, who's local knowledge, personality and attention to detail, is peerless to say the least. You will be greeted as a friend, and depart as family. Until I return for my next holiday, I envy you all in my stead. EARRA!

I cannot recommend Earra Tours enough. Jon and his team are incredible hosts to the grand delights and culinary wonders of the Basque Country. I didn't know much about the region before my visit. The culture, people, landscape, history and food is magical. Jon taught us about all these aspects, and gave us a much deeper understanding than any other tour company. Jon is now a great friend. His humour and energy is uplifting. His passion for his homeland powerful. His local knowledge of the food scene is incredible and his enthusiasm for his clients is second to none. I wasn't sure about going on a tour in Donosti, it's not my kind of thing, but my wife insisted and boy she was right! Jon is an awesome man, he quickly understood what we wanted and he opened the door to an incredible day. We'll never forget the food, the drinks, the culture and a friendly and interesting conversation! Ahhhh the cheesecake!!! Eskerrik asko Jon!! Earra!!

Jon is a good professional and fun! I learned many curiosities of the Basque culture and we did a good hiking route. All without forgetting the good food!
